Nové cíle, jichž je 17 a dělí se na 169 podcílů, jsou dle jeho názoru všeobecnější, komplexnější, političtější a odpovědnější. A co by měla dělat ČR? Omezit škodlivé dopady domácích politik, zrušit daňové ráje na úrovni OSN a omezit těžbu a emise fosilních paliv.
