Petr Kratochvíl and Matúš Mišík are authors of a study that analyses the status of the new EU member states and, in particular, Poland as it is perceived by the representatives of the older EU members. The article was published in the 1/2015 issue of the Politics in Central Europe, the flagship journal of the Central European Political Science Association.

The Institute of International Relations organized in cooperation with the polish Centre for International Relations and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland an expert seminar where a report from the "Polish and Czech Security Policy: (No)Discrepancies" project was presented.

Mapping Europe-China Relations - A Bottom-Up Approach
The Institute of International Relations Prague participates in the activities of the emerging European think-tank ETNC (the European Think-tank Network on China), which focuses on the relationships of various different states with China. In their first joint publication the European-Chinese contacts in general are analysed in the common introduction, and the following contributions to the book are focused on the bilateral agendas of individual European states with China.
